We're here! Got picked up at the station by our friends from WoW and had an amazing dinner (with some great local beer!) I'm really coming to love hanging out with other couples in social situations. I liked being able to zone in and out of whatever the guys were talking about, but still not... I dunno, be separate. Chevas and Lisa, our guild master and lol guild whore, had a lot of fun stories to share... and I dunno, I really look forward to coming back up here to Seattle to see them again.

Anyway, this morning, we picked up a bunch of swag from the exibit. hall (lots of shirts, stickers, some CDs). Waited in line for the Keynote by Will Wheaton -- awesome speech on how games are great social tools and that gamers are just as antisocial as any grouping of ppl. Q&A with Tycho and Gabe = much hilarity, I had no idea of how much I'd love them when it was all over. I'm going to go hear them again 2morrow. We ate a local joint called Dick's and walked around Seattle after the Q&A... Now I'm back in our awesome room at the Sheraton. A friend of ours (we just made on the train^_^) has passed out on our bed since we came in so late last night ...his room situation hadn't been set up so he hasn't had any sleep, poor thing. In a bit we're leaving for the big concert and hopefully we'll catch up with more of our train group to get drinks after said concert and the guitar hero tourney that is going on 2night.

Current Location: PAX, Seattle

I totally forgot I wasn't going directly to Spain!

I've toured the city, went to Fatima (which was beautiful yet disturbing at the same time), and eaten out ...a lot. ^^; I ran this morning in the hotel gym though, with a friend. :D

The cheese here is SO goood guys!

The sky has been a constant brilliant blue with rarely a cloud. And there are many parks that are lush and cool to rest and read in. As far as excitement, it has been some what uneventful due to this mainly being a medical conference. I've mostly been relaxing and getting some sun. The jacaranda trees here make me miss home.

I read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle on the flight and in the first night here. I'm still so stuck on it, I can't quite focus on my other book I brought. I love (and highly suggest) anything by Haruki Murakami.

I'd type more but our hotel computer's keyboard is quite broken :P

I have so many photos to post, guys!

Much love,
